These country-style double gates are a limited-release treated pine version of the very first design we chose to reproduce – The Estate farm gate. With bold top and bottom rails and a diagonal cross brace on each gate, your entrance will enjoy strength and symmetry with this practical, economical design that’s stood the test of time.
Handcrafted from paint-grade treated pine softwood, each gate shows natural variations such as colour differences, gum veins or surface checking – all hallmarks of genuine pine. You may also notice some staining or weather marks, but this won’t affect strength, longevity or appearance once painted. Naturally resistant to termites, insects, rot and fungal attack, treated pine provides affordable durability along with classic rural appeal.
Available in 3.6m and 4.2m widths, the Country Style Pine double gates are perfectly suited to driveways, garden entrances and small rural holdings. Designed for flexibility, the reversible construction allows for left- or right-hand installation with either an inward or outward swing. The gates are supplied pre-assembled using galvanised screws and waterproof-grade glue, and the smooth, machined surface with rounded edges is ready to paint.
Built with the same care as every Authentic Gates design, our treated softwood gates are backed by a 12-month warranty – validated once finished with at least two coats of a light-coloured exterior-grade paint before fitting.
