Inspired by the rustic entrance gates of rural France, the Trellise design pairs simple steel-and-lattice construction with quiet ‘French Country’ finesse. This one-off single gate is framed in solid angle steel with mitred corners and triangular corner gussets, with the gate face formed from heavy 7.5mm deformed rods welded into a small-aperture diagonal lattice. Engineered to withstand the rigours of rural life, the close-set pattern keeps small livestock and pets safely contained.
Measuring 3.6m, this single gate suits any 3.7m driveway, paddock or yard entrance where a wide single reversible swing is preferred over a paired set.
Hand-welded from solid premium Australian steel – not hollow tube – this gate is built for decades of service. Pre-finished in black zinc-rich epoxy undercoat, it allows a natural patina to develop over time. If preferred, it may be top-coated with enamel to maintain a ‘black-iron’ style finish.
