Drawing upon elements of our standard ‘Vintage’ design, the Tonsley Dual is a striking one-off handcrafted ‘black-iron style’ gate. Featuring the same 6-bar layout, ornamental scrolls, and replica ‘hand riveted’ rod ends as the Vintage gate, each cross brace features a vertical flat bar with a centrally placed ’emu egg’ logo badge – the Authentic Gates mark of true craftsmanship.
Hand-welded from solid black steel and measuring 3.6 m wide, this gate delivers the commanding presence of a double with the practicality and ease of a single. Designed to suit a 3.7 m entrance, it includes a reversible swing for added versatility.
Intentionally engineered for strength, expertly welded for longevity, and lovingly crafted for heritage-inspired style, this gate is built for decades of service, supported by a comprehensive 10-year structural warranty. It is naturally weather-resistant for 40+ years, and comes pre-finished in black zinc-rich epoxy undercoat, allowing a natural patina to develop over time. If preferred, it may be top-coated with enamel, just as the original historic gates were finished.
