The Tonsley is a unique handcrafted ‘black iron style’ single gate with a 6-bar layout, ornamental scrolls, and dual cross bracing, each featuring a vertical flat bar with a centrally placed ’emu egg’ logo badge.
With no welded rivets, this 3.6m version of the Tonsley offers a clean, streamlined finish that strikes the balance between heritage and modern style. Hand-welded from solid Australian steel, it delivers the commanding appearance of a double with the practicality and ease of a single. Designed to suit a 3.7m entrance, it offers a reversible swing for installation flexibility.
Intentionally engineered for strength, expertly welded for longevity, and crafted for heritage-inspired style, this gate is built for decades of service. Supported by a comprehensive 10-year structural warranty and naturally weather-resistant for 40+ years, it comes pre-finished with black zinc-rich epoxy undercoat, allowing a natural patina to develop over time. Alternatively, an enamel top-coat can be applied to maintain the classic ‘black iron’ appearance.
